I'd like to thank eSignal staff for proving my point for me.

I really do appreciate. Your services are no longer a requirement for me, I have found much better alternatives. I'm personally just waiting to see eSignal 8. I can't put up with this crap though, hands down the WORST company I have ever dealt with. You guys make Microsoft seem like a great company, that's pitiful.

So good job guys. I really appreciate you making me right.

Spare the excuses though, there is no need.

The "at least we are close" statement said it all. You provide the least amount of support and effort in a program I have ever seen.

I don't really care any more.

Thanks though for the overpriced software.

I strongly urge other members of this forum and people who use this software take notice at the support you are getting and act accordingly.

Despite the hostility, we wish you well in your future choice of a vendor. If you ever choose to use eSignal's services again, we'll welcome you back. In the end, we want customers to be happy and we appreciate the feedback provided by all users, albeit negative or positive.

      All the best.

For those interested, you can try a preview release version of 8.0 that's now available. The "Gold" version should be right around the corner.

        Thanks.

Scott, I have to commend you on your reasonableness.

Sheesh, Jmowery! Things'll be okay! And if not, 100 years from now, nobody will even remember whatever it is that's got you so upset.

          Good trading to all.

            Thanks george65202.

I appreciate your sentiment and feedback.

Have you had a chance to try 8.0 and, if so, how's it working for you?

            Thanks.

              Version 8

              Hi

I did not see any major look and feel differences....

But I do like the Chart data export function that has appeared... I can now get a spreadsheet of data from any chart I can produce.... Very nice..

Is there anywhere that new major features are listed on this or another eSignal website?

              Regards

              Julian

                Re: Version 8

                Hi Julian,

We will be posting all the enhancements when 8.0 goes gold but for now, your best bet is to review the readme file that came with the 8.0 beta. Check the eSignal folder.

Lots of infrastructure and data quality improvements in the early 8.xx releases but you'll see more GUI changes as we progress this year.

                      ScottJ,

Have the spread engine issues been worked out? I rely on spread charts alot and wouldn't want to upgrade if issues remain. Thanks.

                        Hi Anson,

Yes, they should be. We had a couple of reported problems with the spread engine late in the beta testing and each of those were isolated and fixed. We don't anticipate any major issues but with complex and powerful tools like the spread engine, it's hard to know the full extent of their use in the field. If you are concerned, I'd wait a week or so before downloading the new version.

                        Thanks.

                              Guys,

                              I'm confused!

I still don't see the CME Globex option on account maintainence?
