Hi,

It is available via Acct Maintenance unless there's some issue with the type of account you have. Make sure you are checking the box for America's Futures, as CME Globex is listed within that section. If you still can't see it, please contact Customer Service.

No, there is only CME option in that section.

I had already verified that the option exists in Account Maintenance and I used a customer's account to do so. As noted to Anson, if you can't see it, there may be account type issue so simply contact Customer Service and we can sort it out.

Could I just confirm something first though? The link given on the official download page does not really reveal which symbols the Globex Level I package covers clearly. Do you have another link for this?

I ask because I'm interested in Live Cattle and Lean Hogs which are mainly pit-traded. They do seem to trade on Globex too but seem to have very thin volume there? I don't think the CME Globex Level I would cover the pit-traded ones but wanted to be sure?

I presume all the CME FX products should be covered though.

Hi Anson,

We're working on updating the CME Symbols Guide to include a key to define what is included in which package. We should have that updated by the end of business today. In the interim, you can view a list of CME Globex Symbols in this Quote Window.

The E-Livestock Products that are traded on Globex are very lightly traded at this time, but should be included in the CME Globex package according to the specifications for that package, however the pit-traded futures are not included in that package (only the full CME package.)

All Globex-based FX/Currency products (6E, 6J, GE, etc.) are included in the CME Globex package, but the pit variety (EC, JY, ED) are not.

We don't anticipate any major issues but with complex and powerful tools like the spread engine, it's hard to know the full extent of their use in the field. If you are concerned, I'd wait a week or so before downloading the new version.
