The snapshot window shows the values on my pc. I have currently running version 10, build 859 on XP Pro too.
Does the chart actually load on a daily interval or does it remain blank? does it load on intraday intervals? Have you checked if you are correctly connected to eSignal, i.e. do you see two green "OK" tabs at the botom right corner of eSignal (if you have removed the status bar, please clivk on View --> check Status Bar)?
Elmar,
snapshot is working OK using time based charts, as soon as I switch to tick charts it's all zeros again.
Hope you can figure it out.
Thanks
Matt
As far as I can see, the snapshot window doesn't show OHLC for any 1!. This looks to be a bug on the latest version (possibly in previous versions too). I'll inform the developers, but am unfortunately unable to confirm for which release this can be solved.
It seems that if the chart is the first place where a symbol is requesting a snapshot, that the 1! doesn't fill in the snapshot bar. When under this situation, if one pulls up a Quote Window or Detail Window and requests that same 1! symbol, then the quote does seem to fill in and the snapshot bar in the chart also fills in.
We are planning on re-doing the handling of 1! etc. which will happen during 2008, but unfortunately I am unable to provide you with an ETA as of when this is going to be.

I think that by default it is set to roll on the third Friday of the expiration month however you can set it to your own specifications using the Continuous Contract Settings tool.
For information on the 1! user configured contracts and how to set them up and use them you may want to review this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase.
