Since build 1086, cusror tracking between multiple charts fails (not the data-window-cursor, the "Cursor-Tracking" cursor -- the one with the arrow pointer in the active chart).
Background: I use 4 charts of ES#F set to different intervals (e.g., 89P, 377P, 5051V, 512T). Prior to build 1086, when I observed an interesting phenomenon, I could place my cursor over the target event and all charts' crosshairs moved with the active-chart crosshair, showing me at a glance how each chart's indicators reacted at that moment in time.
With 1086, each inactive chart's crosshair sits numbly wherever it happened to be when I moved to a different chart. Usually. But not always. If there are multiple charts with IDENTICAL intervals, they track. If multiple charts are set to a TIME interval (90S, 1,3,5) they track. But I rarely use time intervals, so I am frustrated by this glitch.
"LiveRep" states this is too complex an issue to be addressed by them. Long-distance toll-intensive phone support's only advice was that (since I write most of my own indicators) I must have created a study which was causing a conflict. I removed ALL studies from my system, and of course nothing changed. My emails to tech support remain ignored.
Frequently, when stymied by something like this, it's my fault -- I'll have neglected to set some toggle, or forgotten some simple rule of operation. Have I done something to screw up cursor operation?
Has preliminary work on the new tick buffer scheme eliminated an essential feature? HELP!
