  • subscription changed for drawing tools?

This morning QCharts is telling me I do not have the subscription level to draw anything, rays, extended lines, notes etc.
This has changed overnight. Any reason? A change in service or a glich?
    Thanks

    • Spike on NYSE:FUL 02/27/07

It may be a valid trade but it sure looks like there might be a bad spike on NYSE:FUL on 02/27/07

              • On March 8, American Eagle Outfitters began trading on the NYSE as AEO. Previously it was NASDAQ:AEOS.

THe QCharts title for NYSE:AEO says "AEGON NV FLTG PERP" and displays prices from Aegon (up to 12/1/06) as well as Am Eagle Outfitters.

                • Daylight savings time

                  Hello,

I logged into QCharts5.1 and 6.0 this Sunday to make sure there wouldn't be any Daylight Savings time issues when the market opens tomorrow.
                  6.0 is ok
5.1 is NOT ok: it shows me the old EST instead of the adjusted EDT.

I don't think this is an issue on my side because I've applied the proper patches on my machine.

Can you please look into this before the market opens on Monday to make sure this will not have any repercussions on anything. If it's just the clock indication that's wrong I don't care but if it would affect chart times etc, that would be more of a problem (not to mention possible historic data corruption in your
                  database afterwards).

                  Greetz,
                  Walter

                  • I also have the same issue as collective - my Beta 6 shows the correct daylight savings time and 5.1.0.21 does not.

RE: Daylight savings time - server time incorrect

Looks like the issue has been corrected.
I'm now seeing correct time on the servers, both Miami and Santa Clara.

                      • time appears to be off

The CME eminis have opened it is 6:38pm Eastern and QCharts seems to think the futures markets are not yet open. Computer time is correct. QCharts time must be wrong. I hope you guys can fix this by tomorrow's open.

                        • Re: QCharts V5.1 and timestamp/clock/DST possible issues.

Things look OK...so far. Just so happens that the feed was late kicking off this Sunday evening for CME Index Futures. Rather than starting to tick at 18:00, started at 18:49, with the ticks not delayed or mis-stamped. Just a late start as has happened before on occasion. The gap twix 18:00 and 18:49 is a normal gap of missed ticks when feed is late to get going. It's going now, matching eSignal T&S, and charting OK.

oh...QCharts Beta 6.0 has an issue that appears to be QCharts 6.0 program bug. Looks like the DST +1 adjustment to tick timestamps is not being applied. Charts printing current ticks graphwise an hour off(behind). eSignal feed to QCharts 6.0 is OK. The exact same server on Port 2192 that's feeding eSignal 8.0 running concurrently with QCharts 6.0.

                          • LAM, doctoroe,

Thanks. I am seeing the same problem with time-offsetted tic and bar stamps.

                            Apologies to all.

Something one can do now is display intraday symbols with all-sessions checked.

Before tomorrow's market open there will be a build to address this.

QCharts 6.0 does maintain an offset between UTC and Continuum (daylight-adjusted Eastern) time. That offset did, fwiw, change over the weekend as expected.

                            • Mike it is interesting to note that the minute chart time reference seems correct in that if you don't display an hour ahead the prices are greyed out.

The low seems to be correct at 35.03 (35.025). All sources I've checked have this low with the exception of QCharts intraday charts.
