I had intraday candles when Carol posted her note but when I clicked a different symbol at 9:25am, there were no intraday candles painted. I even lost intraday data for the first symbol.

Jim, I tried that three times already. I guess I keep getting the bad server... Will continue to try killing QC and restarting.

Oh well... Y'all have a great day. Looks like another early weekend starting.

If you are STILL not getting intraday charts, please send me your QCharts login name to [email protected] and I'll get them to check what server you're on and we'll see about getting it corrected.
      thanks.

Apparently I finally hit Jim's and Lugz's "good" server. After 5 restarts, I now have intraday charts.

        Cheers,
        Tom

Intraday charts painting different prices this morning.

          See pic.

EDIT: for clarity - this is with MMBars set to "Accurate."

The Daily Server(s) are shutting down. I have lost Daily Server connection twice today.

As in my prior post, now the Intraday Servers are disconnecting.

This has happened a few times of late. Fyi.

Weekly charts are not reflecting all the price action.

                See pic.

I'm seeing that too Carol. I also have seen that the intraday and daily open, high and low values do not align. This is especially noticable when there is a discrepency between the values in the snapshot bar and the cursor data bar but I couldn't remember if that has already been identified and is being tacked.

                  Regards

                  Jim

                    Jim,
I think there is something in the code/the way the data is obtained that makes it impossible for the intraday OHLC to match the daily charts.

As for the Data Window not matching the Snapshot Bar - that has been identified multiple times before. Perhaps Bill could add it to the Bug List?

Somewhere very late after the close of the market, the Weekly charts updated to include all the price action.

Bill, please add this to the Bug List.

                      Thanks,

We do know about this bug. It's related to another bug we're also seeing in eSignal, so it's not something exclusive to QCharts...it's something deeper in the API that is the likely culprit. Both teams are investigating the matter together to get this solved.
                        Regards,
                        Jay F.

I haven't used 5.1 in well over a year. This morning, however, 6.0.3.1550 will not display some symbols, so I pulled up 'old reliable' to see if it would (as outside sources indicate the non-displayed symbols are still trading).

Loading the exact same Quote Sheet, I found a few things:

                            (1) 6.0.3.1550 will not display some symbols; most of these will be displayed in 5.1. So far, only one symbol would not display in 5.1.

                            (2) About 40% of the LAST prices between 6.0 and 5.1 were different.

                            (3) Several of the LAST prices between the two varied by $17 to $44.

                            See pic.

                              Carol,

I tried to duplicate your Quote Sheet and the attached image is my result on the left using QCharts 6.0.3.1550 and your equivalent images on the right.

I see what appears to be two problems:

                              1. You are not getting the data from the eSignal servers as I had no problem at all. This could be a problem with your PC, your ISP or maybe even the path to the eSignal server.

                              2. The QCharts 5.1 Prices are not representative since I spot checked GENZ and QC 5.1 is showing Fridays Open price and not the Last Official Close which QC 6.0.3.1550 shows.

                              ~Bob

                                Hi Carol

6.0.3.1550 displays those 4 symbols for me, perhaps it's a server specific issue? Attached are my server connections if I have that correct.

As regards the last prices for those that differ, 6.0.3.1550 can be vrified with Options Express as being accurate.

                                Regards
