    Capturing Sunday Forex data

    Alexis,
When first setting up my GS to collect Forex symbols, I did so viewable in the attached pic. I forgot to set it up to capture the early data of Sunday. How do I add/insert to be able to capture this? Also, second attached pic shows "history to save" which is probably not correct, although I am able to chart and download just fine with the esig-plugin.
I have tried inserting a new 'day' - after doing so when I open my layout, no data is shown, so I deleted it and await your resonse.
    Thank you,
    Marc Miller

FYI you can only attach one image per post so you will need to post another message for the second image.
In the mean time to answer your first question you need to add a Sun 09:00 Sun 14:58 session (Local Time) to the ones already existing in GlobalServer (I am assuming you are using PST)

        Capturing Sunday Forex data

        Alexis,
I have tried that, however, once done- when I try to open my charting- no data comes up- my charts are blank on my tick charts.
Any clues as to why this is occurring?
        thanks,
        Marc
PS have added my history to save to this post.

One reason could be that you are trying to chart the wrong record.
As to the setup (ie History to Save, Sessions, etc) I would suggest reading this thread which covers setting up Forex symbols in GlobalServer.

data not charting for added session

            Alexis,
I have added the session as you directed.I have added a Sunday 09:00 to 14:58 (I'm on Pacific time)
            (see attached .png image)
Just above the Sunday 15:01 to Monday 14:58 session.
[I had forgot to add this early Sunday session when first setting up forex
            symbols in the GS]
Now the GS is getting the data just fine, as I have checked in the edit data
            tab- it's there-
but it is NOT showing up in any charts.
Charts DO show data starting at 15:01 pacific- but no data is shown before
            then-
even though it is being collected.

            Thanks,
            Marc Miller

Try replacing Sun 9:00 with Sat 15:01 and see if that works.

                "Invalid session entered"

                Alexis,
I have decided to add a couple of other Forex symbols to
                the GlobalServer.
I have been trying to duplicate session times that are working
just fine for the existing symbols (as shown in other pics in this thread)
I am receiving a "! Invalid session entered. Sessions cannot be longer than 24 hours. I get this message, as stated above when I tried to copy existing session times. This picture shows setting up the times as you have displayed in the "setting up forex symbols" link; using exchange time 0:01 to 23:58, and as you can see- they won't take. What am I doing wrong?
                Thank you,
                Marc

The problem is created by the 3 Hrs you have in the Settlement field. Set that to 0 Hrs 0 Min
