does anyone have a working version of the ox plugin: I seem to either not connect, or when I do connect I get "invalid password" when attempting a trade. I could use some advice/direction as to how to get the plugin going.

OptionsXpress is in the process of removing this current quote/price server and moving to a new platform. We've developed a new plug in that is going to work with this new platform however it still need to be certified by OptionsXpress. This testing is scheduled for tomorrow and hopefully released soon thereafter.
The other issues that we have with the XML/API access it the user is continually required to poll the OX servers for their account information, which is some cases, can be in the tens of thousands of polled request a day. All of the polling causes a slow down on the OX servers, users who continually make the large number of request to the servers have had their entitlement removed from their account.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing and hope to have a solution in place in the very near future.

epark,
The testing went well but not as well as we would have hoped. When placing order there was an issue wth keeping the connection alive to the servers.
Developers on both sides are working deligently to find out what's causing the disconnect and to correct it as quckly as possible.
I'll keep you posted as to when the next test will be.

Avery, ox says it's the plugin pinging too hard
Avery,
OX says it's the esignal/ID pluging that is the problem. The pluggin is:
A) not connecting correctly and also
B) pinging the OX servers too hard and being blocked.
Any eta as to when esignal/ID will finish the rewrite of the plugin?
There is a case of beer or bottle of wine for the guy that solves this quickly.
Cheers, Eugene

Hello Eugene,
We just completed the conformance testing for the new plug-in this morning. We have passed all required tests. The plug-in is currently being tested internally by optionsXpress and OEC. As soon as they have completed their internal testing, we should be able to release the new plug-in. Subscribe to this thread, Update: optionsXpress Plug-in, if you want to receive email notification when this occurs. We're expecting this to happen within a few days baring any new issues discovered during their internal testing.Jason K.

Hello Eugene,
OEC has found some issue in their OEC api that will not allow this plug-in to work properly for optionsXpress clients initially. The new OEC plug-in will work for OEC accounts only for the time being. OEC is working on a solution for the optionsXpress accounts, but do not have a timeline for us just yet.
In the mean time, we will try to see if there is anything else we can do to improve the current optionsXpress plug-in.Jason K.
