    • A new script has been uploaded to the Specialty Scripts group. It is the "Rank Correlation Indicator" and the formula was provided to me by Alexis.

Matt, I actually got the basic VP engine running with tick data a week or so ago and then I got sidetracked. Will try to finish it up ASAP.

      • A version of the Volume Profile - Realtime script that will work correctly with Tick charts has been uploaded to the Specialty Scripts group in File Share. The script should work just fine with "T" and "V" charts. So, for example, you could be viewing a 500T chart and set your Volume Profile Bar Interval to 100T and you will get a Volume Profile based upon the data collected at the 100T level.

Documentation is at the top of the actual script.

        • A new "Custom Lookback" version of the Volume Profile Realtime scriipt has been uploaded to the File Share.

This new script supports the use of Tick data but it also allows you to specify the period of time that will be used to create the Volume Profile. For example, if you are viewing a 1-min chart, you can set the BarInterval to 500T and the Period to 60. What you will end up with is a Volume Profile based on the last 60 viewing bars (in this case 60 1-min bars or 60-minutes) that uses data from the 500T level to perform the actual Volume Profile calculations. As each new 1-min bar comes in, the script will update so that it is always showing you a profile based on the most recent 60-minutes of trading.

          • New version of Murrey Tool script has been uploaded (V3.4.0). Added Alert support. You can now pick a specific MM level (e.g., 0/8th - 8/8th), specify a proximity percentage, and a sound and/or popup alert will be generated when price reaches the specified proximity to the MM level.

              Thanks!!!!

              • New versions of both of the new VP Realtime scripts (e.g., Tick and Custom Lookback) have been uploaded to Specialty Scripts in File Share. Both are now V1.1.0. Added color options to both menus and provided quick access to menu parameter menu by clicking on either the UVA or LVA text lines in the chart. Also fixed potential rounding error.

                • Chris? Can you tell me which lines(#'s) for the Murrey script were added? So I can copy and paste them into my modified one.

                  Thanks,

                  • FibGAnn:

I wish I could give you a simple answer but the fact is I have been tinkering with the script over the past few weeks and at this point I have no idea re all of the lines that I might have changed. You are probably better off just adding your changes back into the new script. Alternatively, I believe you could use a program like Microsoft Word to compare the two scripts and highlight the differences. Sorry.

                      • Thanks Chris, awesome work (as usual) !!!

Would it be possible to have the option of disabling certain functions, such as UVA/LVA, low volume area and high volume area ?

                        • One more thing Chris,

                          I keep getting the warning:

"frPriceIncrement too small or frFractions is 1, 2 or 3. Please adjust and try again"

I am using various tick charts from 550t to 850t and all of them get the warning about once or twice an hour.

I just reload the efs and it's fine again.

Does it stop calculating once it displays the warning ?

If it doesn't, can I just edit out the warning lines ?

                          Thanks,

                          Matt

                          • Pivot formula (bug on variable pivot)

I have noticed that with Pivot formula, when you use variable pivot, the new pivot points are not displayed at the beginning of the new bar, but at new bar +1.

The example I tried was with variable pivot of 20mn displayed on a 5mn chart. The variable pivot will not be displayed at 10:20 but at 10:25

                            Bug?

                            • FibbGann:

Basically you just select the color you want using the Color dialog and then click the Ok button in the Color dialog. The EFS color command will be copied onto the Windows clipboard. If you have something like Notepad open, just click inside of Notepad to make it the active desktop application and then right-click in Notepad and choose the "Paste" option. The EFS RGB command will appear in Notepad. That's about it.

Matt/Phantom - I have not forgotten you and am still working on some of those issues.
