ver 11.4 beta freezes computer after running for less than 10 minutes

    same here. i am using 11.4.2666 64 bit. freeze sometimes, need to reboot my laptop. I am using Windows 7 64 bit professional. 4 core cpu with 8 GB memory.

      I've been having freezing issues since the release of the latest version (11.4.2666, 64-bit). It appears to be much less stable than previous builds which almost never gave me problems, the usual behavior is that Esignal goes to 25% CPU usage and sits there unresponsive. I don't use any EFS and my pages setup etc. hasn't changed significantly.

      I'll do a clean reinstall today and see what happens.

        Definitely let me know what happens after the clean install. If you continue to have issues then perhaps we will need a copy of your page to do further testing here. Thank you

            Did a clean reinstall on Monday per the instructions, Esignal worked OK with no freezes for the past couple of days but just now froze up on me. Identical presentation to previous incidents. I don't want to say with 100% certainty that it never happened in any previous version but if so they were extremely rare.

            Definitely seems to be something wrong with 2666.

              I should have a new version later today. We want to get this one to a few clients that are having known freezing issues to make sure they are resolved. Please PM me if you want to try this.

                FWIW, I have this problem as well -- now that I know what it might be after reading this forum. It seems to happen, however, mostly after hours. Charts don't update unless you click on a chart -- and then it updates immediately but only once. If you scroll to move back into history, nothing happens until you click on the chart again.

                Recently, I've noticed that the charts will freeze during the day sometimes but usually seem to work fine. If I reload the page, all starts working again.

                The previous version did not have this problem as far as I know. I have a good bit of memory and am not using most of it while eSignal is running during the day.

                Anyway, glad to see an update is coming. Thanks.

                    charts not updating

                    @RIa1js, the behavior you describe here is not the same issue that others are having. I believe what you are seeing is something different and will require some more looking into to see what the issue is.

                    Please send a copy of your page or pages where you seeing these issues to the email address I have PM'd you so I can do some testing. Thank you

                      I am rolling back to 11.4.2638, with no freeze problem. only in 2666 has this problem.

                          I apologize for missing the message. Some new issues were discovered in the version that I had before. Rather than distributing it further, I'm waiting for a cleaner version. Sorry for the confusion.

                            The more I test ver 11.4, I find that the freezing computer issue seems to happen when tick charts are used with studies in them. Especially during periods of heavy & fast trading volume.

                            Can't confirm of course.

                              We hope to have these performance issues resolved once and for all soon. We have another build with more improvements coming out shortly. I'm confident that we can get these issues resolved. Thank you for your patience.
