  • The VIX has an improper low which really screws up the indicators.

Also, the Snapshot Bar and Data Window do not match.

    Please remove the improper low.

    Thanks,
    Carol

I had thought we corrected the slipped decimal point?

      It's back.

NQ #F intraday charts at 10/15 at 13:35 pm (approximate) showing a low of zero and really screwing the indicators and candlesticks...

        Please correct... Thanks, Tom

        (edited: added "a low of")

Can someone please fix this one and the two below this posting (DOG, NQ #F)?

            • BAC has an intraday tick to 0.00 and it really messes up the indicators.

              Please correct. Thanks.

                  • On a regular basis, the Hot Lists return a stock with prices that are incorrct and this can only be seen if one transfers the symbols to a fresh Quote Sheet.

                    See tonight's sample.
                    Carol

EDIT: Also note the huge difference in Volume in the Hot List Quote Sheet vs. the New Quote Sheet.

The math on the Net column does not work either Carol. There is a difference of 5.69 between the 2 quote sheets as regards the last price but there is only a 3.92 difference in the net values.

                      • Would someone please get Comstock to switch to the correct feed to the 5.1 Continuum farm as had to be done last Thursday and Friday.

                        • Comstock has switched to a different ticker feed, which looks to have improved the amount of data that's being received.

Am I correct in stating that eSignal/QCharts is a part of the parent company (Interactive Data) that provides the Comstock feed? If so, shouldn't the eSignal/QCharts server farms have better integration into the corporate data "cloud?"

                            • Interactive Data is the parent company of both eSignal and Comstock. While we work alongside Comstock their Operations center works independently from eSignal.

One of the reasons for the move to the 6.x version of QCharts is that the infrastructure for the 5.x version (continuum) has problems with upgrades to the data feed.

                              • The Hot Lists regularly have at least one symbol that will duplicate itself - actually, the 2nd occurance, I think it is replacing another symbol in Symbol column, but all the rest of the data (Last, Net, etc.) remains from the original symbol.
