Well, actually the lines are different. Notice the $5 diff in Price, with the Insert being the correct price.

Normally, one sees either a Cancel or Filtered entry to take out the bad entry. One sees the Filtered stuff in a candle chart as the pale yellow tails if using default colors. But then again, there are oops...Cancel or Filtering doesn't happen as they should. In this case it happened way too late. See screenshot.

OIH will remain spiked intraday until someone removes the bad entry at 15:50.

Hello Data Integrity department. Are you hopefully monitoring this thread and will you fix OIH please?

    • ADX (again)

      Hi Jay,

I don't know what you guys did, but the stocks with the broken ADX studies now show them correctly today (Sunday)!

I guess it was something with the feed... I never would have expected that could be the problem!

      Anyway, thank you!

      • Jim,
Glad you're getting the ADX - I'm still not (Sunday afternoon).

        • And, Friday's Snapshot bars are a little off - showing Green/positive movement of the stock when it was really a down day. Example attached.

          • Larry,
Thanks for your explaination. Yes, I noted the prices were different, I was assuming the "Insert" was supposed to be a correction. But, with your explaination, I now understand that's not how it works and more work needs to be done for the correction.

            Thanks!

            • Jim,
Yeah, I've tried each of the Miami and SC servers - get the same results. No ADX on a handful of symbol, including EMC, STLD, etc. as before.

              fyi,

              • ADX (again)

                Carol,

                I'm using miami 5 (cc-05a.mia.finance.lycos.com:23). Maybe that's why it's working for me...

                  Hi Carol,

Sorry it's not working for you. Two things I hope:

                  1) it starts working for you
                  2) it keeps working for me :-D

                    • Jay,

At 15:50 on 1 June, the OIH shows a low of 164.40 on the intraday charts. On the daily the OIH shows a low of 169.91.

OIH traded in a fairly narrow range on Friday; Doji on daily chart. I would be surprised if the low was indeed 5 dollars lower than the Daily low. I suppose the market maker could have done this, but then it should be on the Daily chart since it happened 10 minutes before the official close.

I am guessing the intraday charts has a bogus low at 15:50.

                      Can you correct this?

                      Thanks,
                      T

                      • still more ADX

Just an update for those who care, my ADX study got screwed up on ESRX again, but still seems alright on the others so this is certainly a bug and not a feed related issue.

But... It is still better for me than before, so I'm just glad the bits have aligned in my favor for a while. May they align for you, too!

                        • Missing some splits

                          Hi Jay,

It seems we're missing some splits (at least this is my reading of the CorpActs.inf file):
BAM, CI, EPIQ, NGA, STR, VSE.

Thanks for your work to make Qcharts better! We probably don't say it often enough.

                          • Thanks Jim for the thanks. Always great to hear that our hard work is helping improve things.

We'll look into those missing splits.
                            Regards,

                              • Jay,
Looks like 5.1 had a real challenge with oil stocks yesterday.

Please correct the following Daily charts from yesterday:

GSF, ESV, CAM, HAL, BHI, TDW, NE, DO, SII, BJS, GRP, NOV, NBR.
Most have painted something looking like a hangman.....but three other sources indicate these are incorrect.

                                Thanks,
                                Carol
