    Jay,
Maybe it's an ongoing issue not previously noticed. Here it is again from just a few minutes ago.

Both 5.1 and 6.0 continue to match here, but it seems that 5.1 on the server you're on is out of step with the market. What server are you seeing this on?

        • MDR split on September 11, 2007. The prices are adjusted in 6.0, however the "2:1" notation is not on the charts. In 5.1, the split is not reflected and shows as an huge gap.

          Please correct.
          Thanks,
          Carol

As far as I can tell, MDR is in the CorpActs.inf file on the Continuum servers. Both QCharts 5.1 and 6.0 get its file from those servers directly, so either you have a unf file that doesn't have the MDR split in it, or you found a server that doesn't have an up to date CorpActs.inf.

Can you clarify which that might be? If the latter, please list the server you are/were on.

              Jay,
I check/update the UNF daily from QFAI. So, from my post o 9/26/07, the UNF then was dated 9/25/07. The current UNF from QFAI is dated 9/27/07 07:00. My current server is cc10-sc8.

              Thanks,
              Carol

Edit/update - I just checked mia4, mia12, cc04-sc8, and cc7-sc8 servers and they all look the same as this pic. fyi.

                  • In looking at the QFAI splits file (i.e. the CorpActs.UNF), it does not have the MDR split in it. Thus if you are launching QCharts with the QFAI tool and have it downloading a .UNF file from the default QFAI server, then you won't receive the split entry for that day. Your choices are:

                    - Delete the .unf file and launch QCharts directly without QFAI (this will use the CorpActs.inf which is downloaded from the QCharts servers and has the MDR split)
                    - Manually input the split entry into the .UNF and restart QCharts
                    - Wait for the QFAI to update their UNF

FYI, I'll let the QFAI folks know about that missing split.
                    Regards,
                    Jay F.

                    • Hey Guys and Gals, Bear with me a bit, I'm transferring programs and data a little at a time to a new computer and I added the MDR split to the old computer data yesterday early and uploaded it but forgot to add it to the the new computer. I updated the UNF data for last night from the new computer and guess what - no MDR spilt. It will be rectified this evening.

Sounds like I need to still use the old computer for updates and copy the entire set of folders to the new computer.

Any other user want to volunteeer for this job?

                      Sorry,

Someone has been changing the Miami QC5 DNS Server or Router IP Names slightly and all QFAI users will need to update their PC located "Servers.txt" files. This can be done easiliy by selecting the QFAI Setup Menu Item Refresh IP Addresses before selecting any servers.

                            Hi Bob,

I tried that and only got a little pop up that said "File was not found - update is being aborted." Is there something more to this than meets the eye? BTW - after Qcharts comes up, I immediately choose Miami 5 and it seems to work for me.

                            Thanks,

                            Jim

                              Bob,
My QFAI indicated it had updated the SERVERS.txt file ok. However, now my Router List is quite compressed (vs. prior to update) and there are no miami servers shown available.

                              Am I doing something wrong?
                              Thanks,

                              • I don't know why you giys are not getting thr same update as I am but the big change to the Miami servers was ro remove the "a" - CC-17a .... ==> CC17.... So the new "Servers.tx" should look like the following:
